Introducing the keets

Coral blue, chocolate male, and blonde. There could be a pewter in there- I went back & looked at order again to remember what I got.
Violet,coral blue,chocolate,pastel, blonde,pewter,slate,bronze,buff.
definitely no buffs or bronzes made it.
So LB end up being, pastel? She's kind of shadowed in that pic.

Looks more like violet there… 🤷‍♀️ Always looking for an excuse to share more pics though, so… pics today of LB with her mate, pied RP Zinfindael. Middle pic is violet cock Razorback solo, last is Zin, LB, then Razorback, the violet cock.

Little cuties!!! :love Is this the new coop? Looks great!!!:celebrate
Yes, this is it. It wasn't quite so hot today so both coops got a cleaning. Tomorrow I move that feeder. Numi is a bit more circumspect abt where she leaves her droppings than the keets are.
I sat there watching them for awhile, bc I wondered if they'd topple off the ledge w/their heads hanging down. The others decided to reposition by the time I took a picture, but not these 2.

I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread @Sydney65 , but it says 'introducing the keets" so I thought I'd introduce my lastest coop hatched batch.
There were initially 14,two were trampled and one keet I found in the nesting box was actually pecked acouple times in the head. I figure its the instinct that this one was to young to keep up so instead of slowing down the whole flock(whoops confusion) the survial thing kicks in. But there are 11 pretty healthy keets being reared in the coop with the general population and this lavender hen is very protective. We'll see how it goes.

Congratulations Southwind! It seems like I always lose at least a few due to similar problems when I coop hatch. Your mama and babies are beautiful. :loveI love the mixed messages with the puffed up threat display and the “come over here and eat this” actions! :gig
