Hello! This is my introduction I guess. I have been keeping chickens for 5-6 years! We currently have 6 chickens.
Tulip - 5/6 years old Light Sussex
Tsunami - 3/4 years old Sumatra
Buttercup - 3/4 years old Wellsummer
Yolkie - 2/3 years old Silver Duckwing Yokohama
Princess Layer - 20 weeks old Brahma
Kylo Hen - 6months/1 year old Brahma(?)
I absolutely love all my birds, Yolkie is the most friendly, she is half blind and more than happy to run over your feet as a consequence, Princess is also very affectionate. Buttercup and Kylo are a bit nervous of people but don't mind coming close as of recently. Tsunami had a leg injury a while ago so she avoids a lot of situations but is a lovely little bird! Tulip is amazing! She is so lovely and beautiful, and she is definitely top of the pecking order, SHE IS A QUEEN.
I am training to be an aerospace engineer so chickens are very much my hobby but I wouldn't ever swap them! And I look forward to being part of this community!
