We have 14 mixed breed 10 week old girls (maybe one roo).
We introduced them to their new run 2 days ago. Is it normal
for mom (me) to have to show them how to get back to
the coop when it's dark thirty? They do have access to underneath
the coop and love under there. We may have to close
this off to them. I'm not ready to leave them
out of the coop. Besides my husband worked very hard on
the coop, they need to enjoy it. Any suggestions?

I had to show mine back in the coop a few times also, they did get the hang of it though I would let them go under the coop as long as they can’t get out that way, they can use that to get out of the weather if they want or as shade or just for fun. Try keeping them in the coop for a few days and then letting them out then herding them back in before dark so they now that they should go in the coop, but you may just need to give the lil guys some time I’m sure they will get it.
