(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had chickens pretty much my whole life

Golden and Black Sexlinks, White Leghorns, OEGB, Booted Bantams, Sebrights, Barred Rock, Australorp, Silkies, EE's, Ameraucana,
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Watching my kids learn about life compassion and the joy it brings to them
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I'm a huge DIY'r i make wine, makeup, baskets, lotions, body wash, candles, i build my own coops runs in the process of building a new greenhouse
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a family of 5 my husband, 10yo daughter and 6&8yo boy's and a lot of animals 67chickens in the main coop 8 of which are cockerel rest are pullets 8ducks 5guineas and 7bunnies in the main coop then my outside brooder has 33chicks in it and 12roosters in my batchler coop for rescued/rehomed roosters 4cats (1 is prego) 2beagles (rescued) frogs, turtles, fish, I am a sahm which I love when I worked outside of my home I was a nurse in a nursing home and I miss it a little more than I realized but would never give up what I have now i believe in giving others a hand up not a hand out
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google every time I would look something up about chickens there was BYC and im so glad I joined. What made me join the only one that understands what I'm talking about when I talk about chickens is my 10yo daughter so I really wanted an adult opinion on my questions and inquiries about my flock
