It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. Hiya Ervin, and welcome to BYC!!

We have a well so hard water, but a softener that runs only on the hot water of our house so I mix it half and half for the chickens as theirs is a 5-gallon nipple bucket that gets brought in the house for refilling. That way I can't go wrong.

The ones inside the brooder get bottled water as I don't trust either for them.
