Introduction

Hi all,

It's been a while since I've been active here and I just realized I haven't posted at all since starting this account. So hi!
I've been raising backyard chickens in California for 9 years. Currently I've got 6 hens. We've also had meat rabbits for the last 2--3 years. We've also got dogs, cats, and human teenagers in our urban barnyard. The chickens are far easier than the teenagers...

I used to have a vegetable garden until I ended up with hens who were hell bent on escaping their yard.

We've been in Oakland for the last 6 years. Anyone else around here?
