Introduction

Hi my name is Jim we have raised chickens for about 8 years. We feed them scratch, layer feed and they range feed throughout our fields. I consider myself a gentleman farmer because we only have 3.5 acres. We also have two Emus a little over a year old that we raised from about 3 months old. Am in the process of building an addition to our barn D/T the fact that I retired from being a RN Supervisor in Dec. 2016, also was a foreman in a coal mine for 20 years, now have the time but not as much money HAHA. We just added 3 Guinea hens and have 8 keets that I'm bought at the auction. Also have a big garden in Eighty Four, PA. We have four dogs and fostered over a hundred dogs. We have two in/out cats. Have been very busy with the above so this summer I will not be on this site a lot.
