Introduction

Hello everybody!

I started about 6 months ago with a variety of breeds. We started with 6 chicks and sadly my favorite died. Then we went and got 2 more chicks. Now we just got our first eggs from a chicken from our original five!
It has been an exciting journey so far. I never knew how interesting chickens are and am discovering each have their own personalities. I never thought I'd love them so much. I would have more if we had the room.
I learned of this site from my many googled questions always pulling up answers from this page. So I finally up and joined.

Welcome! Newbie here too. Totally agree with you, chickens are so incredibly interesting! There are so many breeds I'd like to get to know, but our little coop is maxed out at 11 hens of 8 different breeds. They are so much fun!
