I am jenny. We just bought 2 ducks , 11 chicks, and neighbor gave us two full grown hens. We have two dogs, daisy a Boston terrior and pupsie a Chihuahua . Dais doesn't care much, pupsie however is a little too curious. This is my boyfriend's 3rd or forth time having chickens and ducks, and MY very first time. I bought a very tiny chick and worry about her. I already fell in love with the chicks and chickens. I also quilt and sew. It'll be nice to add this to my spare time. I needed something to keep me away from my bad habits. Like lake of exercise and need to quit smoking by july. Hope for the best.

Welcome to BYC! So excited to see another chicken lover here on the site! :) Your tiny chick will grow up to be a beautiful one— just you wait! On a side note, I love Bostons! Mine was practically a part of the flock for years.

Daisy is a mother hen for sure. She hears one getting loud she will go look and wait for me. Daisy isn't use to me giving love to others. She's been my best friend for 3 years. I know she will share love with me to these babies.
