(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I first started raising chickens when I was around 8 or 9 and kept doing so until I left for college. After I graduated, I got a flock of my own at my house in Maine
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 11 hens and a rooster, as well as 6 chicks in the brooder
(3) What breeds do you have?
Including the chicks, I have 4 EEs, 3 light brahmas, 2 Cuckoo Marans, 2 Silver-laced Wyandottes, 1 Gold-laced Wyandotte, a Buff Orpington, 2 Brahma-EE mixes, and 3 possible olive eggers
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I found out about BYC when I searched up a question about my chickens. I then kept on going here to find answers about my chicken problems
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to hike, go fishing and swimming, play with my pets, and play video games.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am currently a veterinarian working in an office in my town. I have girlfriend as well as a cream Shiba Inu, a calico cat, and a corn snake.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I finally joined BYC after I realized it would be easier to join the website and ask questions rather than just looking for them. I also found that there were questions I couldn’t find so I signed up to ask those questions. I also wanted to share my chicken experiences with all the poultry people on here
