Reminds me of the old Laverne and Shirley comedy series on tv. They asked for an omen. At that split second the tea kettle whistled. They were thrilled - then puzzled
"What does that mean?" they said together :idunno

Having said that, I was always looking for omens,- never came across any legitimate ones.

I prayed for over a year for a bird to come up to me as a sign that my Dad was saved and in heaven. He lived with my husband and I and had died very suddenly. I was destroyed. Dad and I were very close and I needed to know that he was with Jesus now and with my Mom. Had no idea it would be a chicken that would tell me yes. It may seem silly to some but I'm a big believer in signs and ask for them often. It helps gives me peace and hope, and direction in my life. I also don't mean to get all religious as each person has their own thing. I was just trying to give my back story on my unforseen chicken ownership. Ruby has been a HUGE learning experience. There's much more to my chicken story but it's bedtime.
