Oh no, poor little parakeet! Thanks for the warning, I'll make sure my two rattie boys don't cause any harm to the silkies (they only have time outside the cage when they are being closely supervised and I don't plan on having the silkies and rats out at the same time). I've had silkies before and they did very well in my current coop so hopefully the ones I hatch soon will do well once they are old enough to go outside. :)

I'm glad that I could tell you about that. I wouldn't want you to loose any of your silkie's by not knowing that it could happen. Good luck!
