Introduction

Since I'm no good at introductions I'm going to copy and paste the suggested questions and add my answers to them
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I had chickens well over 20 years ago. My sister and I each got to pick a chick to take home from some people that raised them when we lived in the Caribbean. Our father built a small coop for us and we ended up adding more chickens later on. Haven't had them since though.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now I don't have any chickens because we live in an apartment.

(3) What breeds do you have?
When we had chickens they were all just mixed breed chickens. I do really like the dorking chicken, coronation sussex, seabrights, and a whole mess of other breeds. Haha

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I mostly enjoyed watching the chickens being chickens and the hens with their chicks.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy fishing, gardening, and raising fancy guppies.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married to an amazing man and we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter and I am due in September with our second child. I am a stay at home mom so not a lot to say about that. Haha We also have some tropical fish and one cat. We would like to get a dog some day but not right now.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've known about byc's for a few years now and occasionally keep coming here to read all the awesome articles that people share.
