Hi, my name is Hannah. I live in Kentucky with my husband and 3 sons. My boys are 4 years, 2 years, and 8 months. I am a stay at home mom working on a bachelors degree in social work. We are currently trying to live the farm life on about an acre! I decided to incubate some eggs on my own for the first time and I’ve never owned chickens, so this is all new to me. We have 9 chicks total and 2 ducklings. Every chick is a different breed! They are currently 3 weeks.

I used to ride horses back when I had time and the farm life was always for me. When I get back to work, we plan to buy a farm. My husband has never rode horses so I can’t wait to get him on one.

I found BYC multiple times while trying to determine the breed and sex of my chicks! I finally decided to join when I realized I wasn’t going to be able to figure out the breed of one of my chicks without some more experienced input!
