Welcome to Backyard Chickens. So glad you have Javas. At the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, they constantly have Java eggs/hatching chicks.

A Java breeder has been kind enough to supply eggs for years. After they hatch he takes them home and replaces with new eggs. At times there has been different colored varieties. It's always my first stop when I visit the museum.

That is so interesting! It would be my first stop too!
