My dad got chickens when I was in highschool and now I have my very own. (8 years total)

Barred Rock and Buff Orpington
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their cute personalities and love

Hiking, gardening, drawing, etc

My husband and I have 3 cats, a dog, 4 cows, and our two chickens. I work at the local humane society.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Looking up advice online I always ended up on this website so I figured I'd finally join!
