Hi all, I’m Sam! I’ve posted in here before but never introduced myself!
I have two retired chickens who don’t lay anymore- Elsa (leghorn) and Aggie (Ameracauna)- they are 6 years old.
just got 8 new babies: black widow (barred rock), Scarlet witch (black maran sex link), pepper Potts (buff Orpington), captain marvel (golden sex link), she hulk (cooper maran), Gamora (ameracauna) and nebula (ameracauna)
we also got 5 baby ducks: admiral Quackbar (drake- khaki Campbell), Kylo hen (khaki Campbell), Wampa (khaki Campbell), Princess lay-a (welsh harlequin) and Rey skyquacker (welsh harlequin)
I have a 4 year old son who assisted in the naming process
We live in Oregon on 17 acres! We love our birds and they’re so spoiled. Their mannerisms and love is the best.
we also have a wiener dog, Oscar Meyer, who is not allowed around the birds and a German Shepherd, bullseye, who is a gentle giant!
I come to this forum constantly when I have questions-everyone is so knowledgeable!
