We first got chickens by accident, a neighbors hen hatched some chicks under our house and they started living there.

fresh eggs, funny pets

gardening, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, video games, hiking, camping.

I have a wife and two kids, I am currently studying agronomy at NMSU. I have worked on a farm with 120+ chickens, and would like to start my own farm one of these days.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've known about the community here for a while, just needed to get the chickens for an impetus to join.
