(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
(A) new to owning chickens but have helped with looking after other chickens for awhile
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
(A) 3 with another 2 or 3 on the way
(3) What breeds do you have?
(A) silkie crosses and a silkie
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
(A) having low maintenance pets(compared to dogs and cats) that give eggs and give me laughs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
(A) Guitar (professionally), home brew and tinkering with electronics
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
(A) in a few bands, was working at a dog rescue until very recently (council went broke)
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
. (A) used this site's old forums for information and now Im looking for specific answers and advice, always land on this site when googling chicken info
