Hello im Metro im a disabled artist who loves chickens/birds
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Im fairly new to chickens but ive been volunteering at Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary for almost a year now! I love birds very much and I currently have a green cheek conure named Kiwi.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
At the moment I dont have any since my roo passed yesterday. I am planning to adopt 4 sweet hens in know from the farm.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I dont have them yet but the girls I plan to adopt are a olive egger, speckled sussex, I believe a ISA brown, and shes either a black orpington or australorp im not sure.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
That they are so cute and curious
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Vulture culture/ethical taxidermy and drawing
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Currently have a parrot and a dog, my mom has 2 cats though(im not a fan of cats). I live with my mom and dad. Currently a unemployed student.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
