Hi, we have 2 flocks of chickens. One flock has a Silkie rooster, a beautiful smaller rooster that Google lens tells me is a gamecock, a tiny Bantam hen, and 2 Black Star hens, all between the ages of 10 and 12 years old. The other flock has 2 Black Star hens, 2 Golden Comet hens, and a white laying hen that I don't remember what breed she is that are 9 months old, and an Australorp hen, 2 Light Brahma hens, 2 hens that were labeled as Dark Brahmas but don't look like the pictures, 2 Lavender Orpington hens, and a Lavender Orpington rooster that are 5 months old. They are all free range, but the older flock tends to stay together and keep to a smaller area while the younger flock breaks up into varying groups that forage over most of the property.
