I also have Irish Wolfhounds and just lost my Lab, as well as have Cayugas and Indian Runner Ducks! My two male Irish Wolfhounds are Quinn and Aiden, now 7 and 8 years old. I LOVE giant and large breeds. Our family adores Leonbergers and we've had them for 22 years. We also have 8 rescue dogs. Most were not adoptable and abandoned by rescues on me. They live with our horses and ducks on 24 acres.

I'm so sorry to hear about your lab. I'm sure he's happy up in dog heaven. Lots of bones.
I love giant breeds too. I actually know a breeder with a female IW named Quinn. My dog's about a year and a quarter. Wow. You're doing all those dogs a wonderful service.

I really don't have luck with ducks, and it seems I may have posted my introduction a little prematurely. I came home from a day trip and it seems that I've lost my oldest Cayuga, Bellatrix. Poor Narcissa; Bella was her buddy. I originally had three Cayugas, but the drake flew up in our chicken pen and strangled himself on the netting. My Indian Runner Uncas also had Alice to keep him company, but she died in the most bizarre episode. I'll see about posting that in a new thread soon.
