Hello everyone. I'm a hobby farm girl and looking for new ideas for my chickens/duck.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got started with chickens and ducks in 2021. It started with a couple and now its bunch..lol
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 30 chickens and 6 ducks
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have Russian Olaf rooster. Americanas,Opals,Easter Eggers,Rhode Island Red, And Silkies.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love their personality, and egg making and giving me chicks.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We raise rabbits,Building and gardening.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Theres me and my husband and my 22 yo son who has autism. We started a hobby farm bec we love animals. We have 2 dogs ,4 cats,1 guinea pig, chickens,and ducks. Next year we want to add goats. We take an unwanted animals.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
i found BYC through search and other people suggesting their page. I have project's Im trying to figure out and need advice on new project ideas.
