Hi and welcome to BYC, I love your chicken breeds. But I gotta ask, how did you come to have 13 male quail and only 1 female?!

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? 2019

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 6 hens, 1 roo and quail (1 hen, 13 male...yes, separated from female).

(3) What breeds do you have?
Easter Egger, Blue Lathan, Jersey Giant, Golden Sex-Link, 2 true RIRs, and a sexy little bantam Frizzle Cochin Roo.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? (EXCEPT ANY FORM OF ILLNESS, INJURY OR SUFFERING) Every minute of everything they do from the time I awake til they go in to sleep for the night!
