Hello Everyone! My names Georgia and I finally got my fist chickens today. I have been indecisive for a while but finally decided to take the plunge. I have worked with chickens before when I volunteered at a farm and when I studied at college (animal college). However, I am completely new to actually owning them myself.

The chickens I decided to get today are one buff Sussex, one welsummer and one light Sussex. They are settling in amazingly and love their new home.

I have always been an animal lover and also own a lurcher, a mouse, a hamster, a snake and a praying mantis!

I’m glad to have joined this community of chicken owners and I can’t wait to get started with my new girls!
