Hi! I’m a new chicken keeper and enjoy the blog. I’ve learn a lot. Thanks for welcoming me here.

My small flock are 4 EE and 3 Barred Rock Bantams who are 6 weeks old. Thanks to a lot of what I’ve learned here, I’m fairly certain that two of the Barred are cockerels (pictured here). The EEs look mostly like pullets, but because they’re still young the jury is still out.

I love that idea, but my town requires six acres to keep roosters and I fall short.
