Hello! I’m not exactly new here, I’ve been using BYC for years ever since I found it online to find answers to questions I have had throughout my chicken raising journey. But today I decided it was finally time to make an account :)

I have had chickens for about 13 years I would say, I have had them since I was a little girl. I currently have around 30-40 chickens, I also have two Turkeys and five Ducks!
I have had many chicken breeds through the years, but the current ones I have at the moment are ISA Reds, Golden Comets, California Whites, Ameraucanas, Olive Eggers, Salmon Faverolles, Buff Brahmas, Silkies, a chicken I’m not too sure the breed of, a Frizzle mix I rescued and some other mixes I have hatched myself!

My favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens is being able to give them a loving home and also seeing each of their unique personalities! Each chicken has such unique personalities and it is just so fun to watch as they grow.

I also have other hobbies like Crocheting, Earring making, Gardening, and Gaming.

My other pets I have are five dogs and two Emus!
