Hello all,
My name is Debbie, live in Ridgefield WA. Longtime breeder/exhibitor or German Shepherd Dogs and Chihuahuas.
Got into chickens almost 2 years ago and now officially have "the bug".

Currently I have Turkens, Malasian Seramas, Giant Cochins buff, black, white, all 3 colors of standard sized Brahmas, Cuckoo Marans, Americaunas, wheaten, black, blues and red, Silver/Gold laced Wyandottes, Salmon Favorelles.

Hatching out chicks as I am writing this..Turkens..oh my, they are the cutest:cool: I am crossing my Turken hens with either Giant Cochin or Brahma Roosters, the chicks are incredible. No feathers on the neck, deep red to white and fully feathered on the shanks.
I am also crossing my blue egg laying Americaunas with the Cochins or Brahmas and so far the chicks are to my expectations. Marked just like an Americauna but with the feathers on the shank. Can you tell I love the feathered shank breeds?

Malasian Seramas are next to be hatched out and am so excited. This breed is becoming so very popular in this part of the country because of their size and extreme friendliness towards people. They make awesome pets.

Anyways, I'm excited about the new show season coming up and to learn more about these delightful creatures and to meet new chicken fanciers.
