I'm married to a wonderful man, have 2 grown children (Son & Daughter), grandmother to 7 grandchildren and another on the way. I live in Southwest Louisiana (Cajun Country). I am a middle school teacher. I taught Special Education for 7 years, and currently teach 7th grade Social Studies. I have taught for the last 9 years.
I love the country! I have 2 Haflingers, 2 Golden Retrievers, 1 miniature Schnauzer, 10 Cats, 6 Sebastopol Geese (3 white, 1 grey, 1 buff saddleback, and 1 gray saddleback), 4 Astralorpes, 3 White Leghorns, 4 Rhode Island Reds, 11 Buff Orpingtons, 8 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 15 Americaunas, and 12 rabbits.
My animals are very therapeutic for me. After dealing with middleschool students all day, it's nice to come home to animals that are happy to see me
. It truly uplifts my spirit!
