Whoops, posted without an introduction! We are a homeschooling family from semi-rural Arkansas! We have twins, 4 dogs, 1 fish and now 20 chickens! My husband thought this would be a good experience for the kids! Hope he is right. Everyone on BYC seems to love their chickens. I am sure we will also.

Welcome. I'm a new member too. My children love the chickens. They have taken them to local fairs and love to raise chicks. I told my daughter I bought a 30 lb turkey for easter, and she said oh that's one and a half Toms (he's her pet) then she said...is it down at the coop...lol...she didn't realize that it wasn't a "live" turkey. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your birds.
