Hi! my name is Jenn. I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have two daughters, 9 and 11 . for my last birthday, my husband bought me 8 buff Orpington chicks from Thiessen's and then built a fantastic coop/tractor for them to live in. we have loved getting to know our 'girls'. We did, however, get a rooster with our chicks. It has been a learning experience for us all, that is continuing as we try to figure out how to find him a home further out of town. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
My daughters and I love this site and have learned so much this summer.
