I am new here. I have chickens and pekin ducks and call ducks and turkeys.

Hi I am new too, and am going to be new to chickens as well. I have been wanting chickens for about 6 years and I'm finally about to get some! I'm still stuck on which breeds I want though lol. I'm having trouble choosing between cochins, white leghorns, lavender Orpington, buckeye, and whether or not I want bantam or standard size. I only have space for 8 chickens, so it's a struggle lol

I love the lavender Orpingtons. It really depends on what you want them for. The Orpingtons get big quickly and are beautiful. Decent egg layers. They go broody easily.
