heyo i’m a chicken keeper from new england and here is my introduction
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
relatively new compared to most people i assume. i first got chickens when a friend of mine who is an officer found that a group of chickens had been abandoned and he asked if i wanted them to which i agreed and now i have a flock of 13 birds.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
13 birds as of now
(3) What breeds do you have?
not honestly sure. i have 1 bird that seems to be miniature and makes pidgeon sized eggs and i have multiple other grown birds and chicks.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
feeling like i am responsible for the happiness of another being makes me feel good.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
gaming, archery and weight lifting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
im a college student and these are the only pets i have.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? i’ve stalked a lot through my questions on google but i finally found an issue i need help on regarding one of my birds
