Hello all!

I've been coming to Backyard Chickens for months now but just now becoming a member. The place my family moved into last November came with chickens, so we had to dive right in and learn how to take care of them and this site has become my "go to" place to look when I have questions about my chickens.

Thanks Sourland! It has been a learning experience coming from town life to working a garden and keeping livestock. We love the location, we love our chickens and have even added 3 Nigerian Dwarf goats to the mix
