INTROING MY GIRLS TO MY FLOCK

Just a few more weeks I'm introducing my girls to my flock , this is been a long time coming it seems , my girls will be 8 weeks old when this happens , Thought I might put my 16 week olds out in there run and let the girls get use to the coop for the first day , knowing me ill be with them all day , and probably most of the night .......the coop is very large ,maybe they want stay in one corner all day , if I don't loose any this will give us a LIL over 30 in our flock , wish us luck , And if ANYONE has any pointers please fill free to let me know, HAVE A GREAT DAY TO ALL PEEPS ML&R

Good Luck and my one tip is try not to intervene and let them do their thing. Congrats on reaching 30 chickens .

Thanks Niamhblond, It's been a long time coming but the last 8 weeks have been the longest , , yeah I'm going to try to let them do their own thing , they have plenty of room maybe all will be okay ,my older girls and boys are BRAHMA, BREDAS, BUCKEYE,BLACK LANGSHAN THE ONE I WILL BE ADDING WILL BE RHODE ISLAND REDS AND PEARL WHITE LEG HORNS , FROM WHAT I'VE READ THEY SHOULD ALL GET ALONG PRETTY GOOD , BUT ANYMORE TIPS WOULD BE WELCOME ......FROM DEEP IN THE SOUTH WE HOPE ALL HAS A GREAT DAY N ASAFE DAY ....

It sounds to me like you have a great variety of brilliant birds there .
And how are they doing ?
