Some of you may have read my earlier post about my 4 month old Ameraucana with a balooned breast. It is pendulous crop.
I intubated her today and was able to pull out some of the mucus filling her crop, but it is the size of a small grapefruit and I was only able to empty about 30ml. I gave her some applecider vinegar, massaged her crop and tried to empty it out more, but my tube kept getting clogged. After a fourth attempt, I stopped not wanting to stress or hurt her.
Does anyone have experience with this? How can I be more successful tomorrow?
