I thought that it would be fun to come up with a list of things that Pagans invented that we still use today.

Cement(Romans)

Democracy (Greeks)

Wedding Rings

Names of the days of the week and months of the year(Romans and the Norse, I think)

carrying the bride over the threshold was part of the Roman wedding ceremony

Arabic culture brought us both the concept of zero, and to the dismay of middle-schoolers everywhere, algebra.

Algebra evolved from concepts known in ancient Babylon.

Some of our legal system has roots in the Code of Hammurabi, also Babylonian. It may have been the first legal system to codify interest rates.

Agriculture: who knows, but it predates monotheistic religions by several millenia
