Yesturday my incubator kindof went crazy. When i got home it was 92 degrees and then i called my dad to check the temp and he turned it to much and it spicked to 116!!!! The embroys were ok this morning so hopefully everything is ok. Has been stable for over 12 hours.

I have to incubators one in the basement one in my room. The eggs were set the same day are showing different progress between incubators. For example the one in my room i can clearly see large veins, but the one downstairs i cant see anything. They are only on day 5 and i was courous to see everyoners opinons. Could i have the temperature in the basement to low? ( developing slowly) or is my incubator in my room (larger veins ) just to warm???

Any input would be great thanks.

im not sure if this makes a difference but the incubator in the basement has a turner and i hand turn the ones in my room!

Thanks again!

About how long did the temperature spike last? There still might be a chance for them, so don't give up on them yet!

Theres a possibility that the temps could be affecting development.

But it could also be that maybe the ones downstairs are not fertile?

I've had my incubator spike and spaz, (up to 107 before) chicks did fine.

Do you know exactly how long the temp was 116? Time will tell the damage,

if any done to the eggs.
