OK, tagged the 5 silver penciled chicks to follow along. More curiosity than anything to see if there is anything visible at this age that predicts adult appearance. Will follow these 5 along to adulthood, hopefully.

Oddball Chick - "Red"







Melanizers I would expect to extend the black, etc, but the calico/uneven patchiness of different patterns is just weird on this chick. Can really get a feel for how non-symmetrical this chick is in this photo.

Here is my little breeding group. A cockerel and four pullets from eggs from Jim (MrHeinz) and a cockerel from Sandhill.

I also have my original roo, but he has turned pretty brassy.

You're silver hen is fantastic! It's nice to see we've got a few of those around to breed with!!! You've got a nice looking flock there. Boy, I really like your silver hen.......thanks for posting pics.
