American Iowa sounds funny to me, but could see putting America at the end of the name, like Iowa Blue ... of America.
I like short and sweet, starts to get to be a mouthful over 3 or 4 words.
Great, love the listing of the numbers!
Can't get all the numbers right now, but I held one rooster and 4 pullets over winter with plans to bring in more this spring.
The rooster has a nice straight 5 point comb, no brown, decent coloration don't have a weight on him. The hens, one is too dark, hardly any lacing, but the best overall body/size/appearance other than color. Comb flops over, medium sized. One has moderate lacing, decent size, comb flops as well, don't remember the number of points. One pullet is tiny compared to the others, think there is a midget gene in there or something, but she's cute. Doubt I'll keep her to breed, but cute. The third has a small straight comb, moderate size, color has a tish of gold in there, I think.
I plan to order a 25 pack from Sandhill again this spring, would like to pick up some from the other breeders around as well, to get as much diversity as I can.
Hoping we get a gathering going this spring for swapping/yapping.
