Just got back from the midnight screening of Iron Man 2. WOOT it was even better than I had hoped! Good emotion and story line, great graphics, plenty of humor. "TASTES LIKE COCONUT". Acting was fabulous. Definitely recommend it to anyone who liked the first one!

Also be sure to stay after the credits to see a little teaser for the upcoming THOR movie! SQUEE! For those of you who don't know, they're going to be making an Avengers series, where all the superheroes are connected. Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America... It's gonna be awesome.

On a similar note, I was really stoked with the Last Airbender trailer they showed. I'm a huge fan of the original tv show and the movie looks epic.

Pretty big, actually! He probably had at LEAST 5 full minutes of screen time, or more like 10. Good ol' Samuel Jackson did an awesome job, totally loved it.
Tony Stark: "Okay I have to ask, what do I look at, the eye patch or the eye?!"
Nick Fury: .... *stares*

Just got back from it, posted in the other thread.

Yes, "Tastes like coconut..." was funny! Same with the "I'll be watching Super Nanny while you drool on the floor"
Sam Jackson does wonderfully as Fury. And of course Robert Downey Jr is without a doubt best for the role of Tony Stark.

Wasn't a fan of the preview, but that is because I'm not a fan of Twilight.

Oh well.
Theater was packed, and we considered leaving without watching the credits, but everyone was moving in a big herd so I figured it would be worth the wait regardless.

Certainly worth it to have the tie in for Thor! People were grumbling outside waiting to get seated for the next show so I commented loudly about the sneak peak as we left.

ETA: For those that sat through the credits, did you think of Epcot when the second song played? I sure did...

Agreed that Robert Downey Jr is without a doubt the best actor for the role of Iron Man!

The Last Airbender = NOT NOT NOT Twilight!

Twilight is god awful in my opinion, and about sparkly vampires written by a terrible writer. The Last Airbender is based off a tv show that took years in making with a really deep, detailed, spiritual and emotional story. *fangirl*

Saw it last night. Excellent movie!

Even though I'm an old mom (48 yo) I loved it!
As for the previews: Twilight: SUCKS!, Shrek: needs to DIE!, POP: Awesome!, Last Airbender: Looks amazing!!
