irregular eastern wild turkey laying

we raised 2 eastern wild turkeys and breeding season rolled around. our hen laid a clutch of about ten eggs before it was destroyed by something, she tried again somewhere else and had that nest destroyed, she nested closer to the house on a clutch of 12 eggs of which 3 survived these young poults are about 2 months old now and our hen laid another 2 eggs the past couple of days, any reason she would randomly lay eggs months after breeding season?

Hens during their first season and those ~7yr's and older are more prone to this (though it could be something going on specific to this hen).

we have no lighting in or near our coop, so i can't see that causing it, it must be because it's her first year.. thanks for the info!
