hello, I was wondering what if anyone can help me 2 of my 3 girls have irritated areas on their feet. They also seem to be reddened in color to the back of their legs.

Hello and Welcome to byc. Can you take some photos of your birds send the run and coop? Did the redness just recently appear? How long you did you notice it?

Here are some pictures. We had changed to finer shaving between that and the rain is when it started. I've washed their feet with cool water and applied poultry wound spray, no open wounds just skin irritation.Hello, I'll try to get a picture of the feet. I noticed they seemed to be almost tap dancing a few weeks ago, I live in Lutz Fl it's been very hot and rainy, the ground has been very wet. Going out to get pictures.
Thank you, nice to meet youx2 on the pics.

It looked like one scale was, we looked all over her today for mites didn't see any. The Feed store recommended putting down Diatomaceous Earth for them to dust bath in.Are some of the scales lifting up a bit instead of laying smooth and flat?
Thank you nice to meet you!x2 on the pics.
