Hi there, so I am an intermediate Hatcher....I have three Batam silkie eggs in my bator right now. Today is lockdown so I took out the trays and everything else you’re supposed to do. But my question is, is 100F too hot for lockdown??? I know it’s supposed to be 98F but i can’t get it to go down and I am a bit nervous that it’ll be to hot for the babies?

Welcome to BYC! The desired temperature for hatching in a forced air incubator is 99.5F but if you absolutely can't get the temp to drop you can get away with 100F, especially later in incubation because the embryos become a bit more tolerant as they grow. I wouldn't allow it to get too much higher than that though because it can cause issues with hatching before yolk sacs are fully absorbed and other issues if the temperature is too high.
