is 102.3 TOO hot to leave bator at?

at least add a thermostat....be nice to have a fan too.

what are u using to heat it?

Truthfully....a bulb from my bathroom, i have two red heat lamp bulbs, should i use those? Temp is steady at 100.4 now but humidity is only at 55%

r u read temp at egg level 100 good at egg level....if u r reading temp above the eggs thats to low

Ya, i actually took the thermometer off the wall of the bator and its sitting directly on top of the eggs right now, i have the eggs in egg cartons with holes in the bottom for ventilation. Im worried about the humidity though, is it ok at 55%?

yes 60 would be better , just add more water surface (larger pan) not deeper

ok, got that done, now the waiting game to see if it helps

one possible issue i see as you head toward lockdown is keeping humidity constant if you're opening the incubator to adjust the temperature

All is well, temp has stayed at 99.1 all through the night and humididty is at 60% thanks guys!

Hi . I had a disaster first hatch , with a dimmer switch
So I got a dimming thermostat from a good company called
Forttex £40.00, it's great stays at 37.5 allthe time
Except when I turn the eggs , it reduces current to my twin 40 watt
Bulbs , and I'm hopefully with 40% humidity at moment ,
