is 102.3 TOO hot to leave bator at?

I have a thermometer/hygrometer ya, but a thermostat can actually lower and raise the temp with a dial or whatever. I have a good one, i calibrated it an everything also, i just have a crappy homemade incubator.....

I really hope you have a good hatch!!!

Im going crazy with all this!! Im so nervous my babys arent gonna make it cuz the temp changes, it never stays too col or too hot for more than like 20 minutes though cuz im constantly checking on them. Really wish i had the money to just buy an incubator..

I dont understand, if you don't have a thermostat, how do you know the temp?

thermostat control temp, on and off

thermometer read temps.

seen people hatch without a thermostat.........but rare to get many to hatch

Hope you mean 99.5 and not 95 because thats too low. Since I have still air I am happy with anything over 100 and anything under 102. Small window but I do my best to stay in it.

I started with 17 eggs, dropped two and two didnt form i now have 13, i think ive done pretty well to make it this far and havent had a thermostat. But im really cautious, try to be at least, i go back every half hour or so to check on them. i dont work right now and have that luxury to be able to. lol
I know next time im gonna make it bettrer, or try to trade someone for an incubator or something.
