I am on my 2nd year of raising birds. This is only effecting my Cornish Hens,my first year i only started out with a small number but this year i wanted to stock up my freezer so I bought 50 but it has only been 4 days and they are not looking so well. Some have bare sides no fluff or feathers. I dont know what to do about it. Should i put them in smaller groups of 10?

Depends on the size of your space. The rule of thumb seems to be 4 sq feet per bird. If your space is much less I would separate and adjust accordingly :) The bare feathers might be from pecking but it could just be normal feather development. Good luck!!

thanks for the input i figured it out with a lot of research we have an area of 4x8 2.5 ft tall we use four feeders from farm and home and one big water now i had little waters around but they were knocking them over and getting wet and that is why they looked bald i have been drying them off and trying to keep them from knocking them over so i ended up getting one large water and putting it up on a custom brick so they cant move it. I do have one runt in the flock thinking of removing her with a couple others to a smaller box so she has a better chance at getting food and water
