Is a 12''x12'' cube big enough for a nesting box?

what should the dimensions of a nesting box be? Is a 12''x12'' cube big enough?

Most say yes, although mine are a few inches bigger than that.

Mine are 12"wide but 15" high and 18" deep. 12 x12 should be fine but if you can make them bigger I would give them a couple more inches.....

mine are 16 by 18 because i have large breeds like brahmas and jersey giants but i think that 12 by 12 is fine

Mine are 12X12 and the big girls fill it up without much room left. They use it fine, although the ones on my new coop will be a bit bigger to accomodate the larger sized girls. (BR, BO, Brahma, etc)
