Hi wise BYC peeps, I have a bourben red Tom that is 2 1/2 years old and it's time for him to go, we were thinking about eating him for thanksgiving, but don't want to ruin the holiday with a tough old bird, so what do you think, too old to roast? Stew instead? What about brining? We eaten a lot of our own turkeys but they've never been over a year.
