Is a 90w bulb to hot

Im using a home made incubater but I only have one type of light bulb is 90w too hot becuse I saw how to make a home made incubater and it says 65w so is this 90w to hot or to cold or is it ok

Hello and welcome to BYC

It depends on the size of the incubator you are building and whether it's still air or forced air etc. I think what you should do is put the bulb in and measure the heat and see how high it is. Then adjust as needed.

the incubater is 19inches and two eggs are inside and the temputer is 92f is that to hot or cold
